A European Journey Celebrating People’s Mother Tongues.

In 2012, I had a chance to be an exchange student in Finland. This was my first time ever leaving Asia and it was AMAZING. I met so many people from so many different places, speaking so many different languages, when I was traveling around, that I felt like I was in a state of culture shock almost everywhere I looked… And I LOVED THAT. So I decided to use my little old school chalkboard to record a little homemade greeting from everyone I met. I asked each and everyone of them to take a picture with their mother tongue greetings engraved in hand. Each person left a personal home greeting for me to remember always. I might never see them again but, somehow, they left me a gift that I can never forget.
